To accelerate the development of successful and profitable BoP innovations it is necessary to capture and share knowledge and identify issues that impact all sectors and themes. The objective of the '3 Pilots for Pro-Poor Innovation' (3P4PPI) program is to gain more knowledge and experience on market-driven pro-poor innovations through the development of three separate pilots. Throughout this process, learnings are captured, processed and shared with different organizations interested in and working on inclusive innovations.
The following pilots are currently running:
The BoP pilots are used for the development of new tools and instruments. They provide a deeper understanding of the different development stages of the BoP innovation cycle. Tools and instruments, practices and methods are tested and validated in practice. We share learnings and insights from this process to increase the number and quality, and accelerate further development of inclusive innovations.
On November 29, we shared the latest insights from the different pilots, together with our partners, at the 'Implementing Inclusive Innovations' event. We also released the first two publications of a series of five on the inclusive innovation process.
